Er gewann auch Beliebtheit unter den Tadschiken von Panjshir und Badachschan. Dort gibt es ein Grundarte mit einfachem Kopfband von Pakol die meist getragen.

Aufbau:
Der Pakol ist im Prinzip eine 15 – 20cm lange Röhre aus Wolle mit aufgesetztem Deckel. Die Wolle ist an mehreren Stellen gefaltet und vernäht, wodurch eine schöne Verzierung entsteht. An der Unterseite des Deckels ist ein satinartiger Stoff aufgesetzt, damit die Wolle nicht direkt auf der Haut aufliegt und dem Pakol Stabilität verliehen wird.
Seine charakteristische Form erhält der Pakol jedoch erst, wenn die „Röhre“ gleichmäßig nach außen aufgerollt wird. Optional kann ein Stoffband eingewickelt werden, um dem Pakol zusätzliche Stabilität zu verleihen.
Getragen wird der Pakol nicht ganz über die Stirn, sondern nur leicht über den Haaransatz gezogen (ausgenommen natürlich, wenn dieser dich zu weit in Richtung Hinterkopf befindet ;))
