What is Colorchrome?
Colorchrome is a special paint finish with an iridescent
glow. You know the way Christmas ornaments gleam and reflect light?
Colorchrome reflects light in the same manner so they look great on
display as part of your collection. As you know, the first issue of any
collectible is always the time to start your collection. Some more
details of how the colorchrome process actually works:
Labor-intensive process of hand-polishing every inch of the die-cast
body Chrome-plated with electro-plating process Painted with clear
lacquer and finished with a color tint of the original body color
Original sponsor decal package is applied over colorchrome finish Only a
few select drivers will be chosen for the colorchrome finish in the
Elite models in any given year.
