National Parks

One sight to behold is

Great Smokey Mountains National Park

straddling

Tennessee and North Carolina.

From an original photograph by Ken Jenkins

Originally established by President Calvin Coolidge in 1926,
the park was not formally dedicated until 1940 by President Franklin Roosevelt.

In the 1830's it was a hiding place for many members of the Cherokee Indian tribe
who refused to comply with Andrew Jackson's Indian Removal Act.
Many of their descendants still live nearby

Among its attractions is Cades Cove which includes an assortment of restored and preserved buildings
giving a glimpse of what Appalachian life was like in the 19th Century.

Today the park protects 816 square miles of mountain ridges, forest, plant and animal life.
According to the National Park Service it is the most visited National Park in America.

Pristine wilderness without a soul in sight.
Millions of years in the making.

Each puzzle in the National Park series celebrates the
glorious work of "Mother Nature" at her best.
As you complete additional puzzles you will experience the excitement of discovery as you
marvel at the magnificent landscapes sculptured over millions of years by the forces of nature.

"Fun" and "Learning"
do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Once completed, the puzzle measures 26" x 19"
Carefully coated with Modge Podge (available at most hobby or Arts & Crafts stores)
it is then suitable for framing.

Each puzzle is brand new, has never been used and is still in the factory sealed box.
so
If not for yourself, then the perfect gift.
