Hopalong Cassidy - Enter Hopalong Cassidy & Bar 20 - VHS Tapes (2) - both MINT and SEALED (never viewed) in original packages. "Enter Hopalong Cassidy" released in 1935 starred William Boyd as Hoppy, with George "Gabby" Hayes and Cahrles Middleton. Hopalong Cassidy is a fictional cowboy created by Clarence E, Milford. In "Enter Hopalong Cassidy," the first of the 66 Hopalong Cassidy films, a range war has developed between the Bar 20 and their neighbor with each thinking their cattle is being rustled by the other. Having been shot in the fracas, Bill Cassidy receives his nickname recuperating from the leg wound when he says 'I can still hop along'. Later he uses an altered cowhide brand to find the real rustlers. (B & W running time 62 minutes.) "Bar 20" was released in 1943 and starred Boyd, Andy Clyde, Robert Mitchum, and Victor Jory. Hoppy, out to buy cattle for the Bar 20, ends up falling into a plot to steal land from a young couple. He is set up to look like a murderer and must save himself. (B & W running time 54 minutes.) Remember, both these VHS tapes are in MINT condition sealed in the original packages. No collection of Hopalong Cassidy items is complete with out this great video.
