The switch can be set up in two ways, as shown in the diagram in the photo section:

1.     You can control your device with 12v output, which will also power your device when the switch is closed.

2.     Alternatively, you can set it up with no voltage (dry contact 0v output) at all to your output device when it closes the contact for your device.
