This is a previously-owned, vintage Birthday card manufactured by Hi-Brows / American Greetings sometime in the late 1960s or 1970s (as part of their counterculture collection). Though it shows a very finite degree of edgewear due to its age, it is unused, with no pencil or pen marks anywhere. It exclaims, “I Wanted to Throw a Big Birthday Bash For You With A Jazz Band, Bathtub Gin, Wild Games, and All the Trimming!! But At Your Age, I Guess Warm Milk and Graham Crackers Would Be More Appropriate ,” but it does not include an envelope.

In 1957, thanks to the rising counterculture, American Greetings introduced a new division -- Hi Brows. Influenced by the funny cards being made by Bohemian artists in Greenwich Village studios, these irreverent, witty cards were slim and tall.
