This is a very good quality chrome automatic electric aerial, power antenna supplied by Hirschmann of Germany. It is a Hirschmann HIT AUTA 2060, part number 602433001, 602433-001.

Hirschmann supplied this type of mid-range aerial to VW as original equipment in the 1970's, 1980’s & 1990’s.

It is made to Hirschmann’s high standards and is superior to copies which are now widely available from China but which have inferior specification and poorer quality chrome plating.
