This ensemble in the style of Marie Antoinette has three parts.  

Gown, Hat, and Panniers.   Pink satin jacard & white matte satin.  Gown underskirt is white matte satin with a front panel that has been quilted with the edge down.  White seed pearls have been scattered across the panel while a pearl and braid ribbon trims the lower edge where a 1" ruffle is attached.  The pink satin jacard overskirt has a large rose pattern.  The over skirt is edged in white lace and has an inch wide ruffle one inch above the lower hem.  The bodice has a wide white strip of the quilted satin up the front, long sleeves and a strand of the white pearl and braid trim around the neckline.  The long sleeves have a wide white satin band at the elbow with a bow attached.  The hem of the sleeve is edged in white lace.   The gown closes in back with three snaps.   A wide stiff hat of the pink rose jacard has pink and white roses across the front and a strand of white seed pearls around the crown.  A white satin ribbon matching the band on the sleeves slips under the chin to hold the hat in place.  The paniers puff to the sides and are held in place by a satin band around the waist that snaps in back.
