Beautiful  French damask ticking that arrived from central France. Beautiful lace like ribbons and garland of roses variation from about the 1930's- 40's or so. The pattern is very 1800's-turn of the century. The reverse is it's exact opposite.  This is stunning, such a great pattern and color of it's day.

These old French ticking pieces make wonderful upholstery pieces  as well as excellent for pillows (especially feather stuffed), window elements, light upholstery and an abundance of early vintage projects. They were made to be strong and used for utilitarian reasons. I believe this one is a cotton linen as most of the earlier variations were.  Look wonderful in shabby French or cottage as well as romantic settings. They intermix beautifully with linens and laces as well as other French textiles. Also look wonderful when mixed and matched in a variety of patterns and colors.

Condition is very nice; unused and I have done nothing to it. May have a tiny random age spot from storage over the years. These wash beautifully, easily in a delicate wash cycle with a mild detergent such as woolite or similar.

Measures 27 inches wide by 20 inches tall ~  I can keep your length/quantity selected uncut up to "3", so up to 27" wide by 60" long can be sent continuous.

Many thanks!
