That being said we also take steps to protect our customers and ourselves from many situations.
Items do get damaged in shipping. We have successfully shipped over 25,000 items over 20 years, overpack our items but still experience damage from time to time
If an item gets damaged or does not work properly after it's arrival at your door, this must be reported within 72 hours.
We also require customers to cooperate with our simple requests during the claim or return process.. eg. explaining the nature of the damage in full,
taking pictures of all items in the sale, including the box itself, the packing material, etc
Also, in response to customers changing internal or external parts then returning, we now use UV or IR markers to literally mark all internal components in a specific "Code"
that only we use. This prevents customers from pulling parts, changing serial numbers, etc.. then returning the item for a refund.. YES, this DOES happen!
What a world we live in.. Lastly if for some reason a customer does want a return for ANY other reason, we typically do NOT allow them.. but will consider them
on an individual basis but they will require the buyer to pay return shipping to us..insured and trackable. And we also must charge a 20% restocking fee as well.
In addition under ALL return circumstances the buyer must pay for return shipping to us for item inspection and claim processing. And initial shipping is is not reimbursed
to the buyer for damaged items, as-is items, parts, used, demo, new(other) demoed electronics, vintage items.
If something does happen however it is best to contact us first..within 72 hours with your concerns to work things out.
