Epson Stylus CX3100 & CX3200 

If your Epson has unexpectedly stopped working, display lights are flashing etc. then you most likely have a software reset issue.

The CX3100 & 3200 are programmed to stop working after a predefined number of prints or cartridge changes, something you can reset with this program: 

It is compatible with all Windows Operating Systems up to and including Windows 8. It is multi use, so you will be able to use it again should you have the problem in the future.
