SME 3009 3012 Non Improved tonearm PHONO CONVERTER by Xad
Simple self assembly


  • High quality gold plated RCA phono replaces the 5 way terminal at the base of SME3009 Non Improved tonearms.
  • Improved connection quality, compared to the old SME part.
  • A wider range of standard phono tonearm leads can be used.
  • CNC machined with hexagonal keyway for secure tightening of phonos.
  • Accomodates the SME screening can with its spring retainers.
  • Separate earth lead and tag

You use the existing screws that attached the old SME part. Soldering of the 4 signal and signal earth leads is required. The existing tonearm earth is attached in the same way as before.

The converter bracket is CNC machined, and the edges are left as machined to keep cost down. After all, this part is rarely seen.
