Here is a completely Hand-Made Airplane. Built of Scrap Wood. The Plane is a 'General' Model not a specific plane. It may have been a Home-Made Toy or part of a Whirlygig. The one-of-a-kind airplane was built the 'old fashioned way' with the parts from the woodpile using traditional craftsmanship. Size 10 1/2 inches x 9 1/2 inches. The body of the plane is a 1" x 2". The Wings and Tail are made of Plywood. The Pilot is an old wooden clothespin. The Hole on the Front is for the missing propeller. The Holes on the sides are for the two missing wheels. Both probably wood. The Color is Weathered White. The Wood is smooth from many years of seasonal elements. I found the plane under the roof in the ruins of a small building on the road to Rovanna near Round Valley off US 395 in the Eastern Sierra. A Beautiful Collectible.
