Includes:

• Currie 9-Plus Round-Back Rear End with 31 Spline Axles (Currie #CE-UHR53INX)
  • 9-Plus roundback housing
  • 31 Spline performance axle package
  • 53" Overall width:
    • 53" is measured outside-of-axle-flange to outside-of-axle-flange, in other words, where the wheel bolts on to where the wheel bolts on
    • We also have these rear ends available in lengths of 54", 55", 56", 57", 58", 59", 60", and 61"
  • Housing is built housing-centered with a 0.94" pinion offset
  • Steel 3" diameter tubes
  • Small webbed-style center easily accepts triangulated 4-link brackets
  • These are 9" Ford center sections, so they do require a 9" Ford 3rd Member (sometimes referred to as a Chunk);  if you don't currently have one, we do offer them in several ratios here
  • Axles include:
    • Both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" wheel bolt patterns
    • Includes one set of 7/16" studs and one set of 1/2" studs 
    • 1/4" Thick heavy-duty bearing retainer plates

  • The Axle flanges on this rear end are the Big Bearing Ford (New Style), also known as "Torino", which fit the Currie drums perfectly
