The HMS Niger was a torpedo gunboat launched in 1892, converted to a minesweeper in 1909, and sunk in 1914 by the German U-Boat U-12.


The HMS Rattlesnake was a unique design of torpedo gunboat of the Royal Navy, launched in 1886. She was made obsolete by the newer models and became an experimental submarine target ship in 1906, and was sold for scrap in 1910.


This is an unused, slightly-smaller-than-standard-sized (3-1/4" x 5-1/8") undivided-back postcard.


It is unused, in very good condition, with minor aging / wear.
