Packaging: All orders are packed by hand for quality and freshness. From our professional herbal supplier of 20+ years, packaging is described as follows:

Herbs and Spices (not powdered) - are packaged in a CLEAR BAG (not re-sealable) (see image). Description below.

Most of our herbs and spices are sealed in a clear FDA-approved non-gas-permeable 3 mm poly structure bag (of various dimensions) to preserve freshness, aroma, and potency. The bag has excellent barrier properties and is ideal for storing herbs. Once opened, it is NOT re-sealable. This bag is used to pack most of our herbs and spices that are NOT powders. Please not: some herbs are so voluminous (bulky) that they require a large bag with a twist tie.

Herbs and Spices (powdered) - are packaged in a FOIL BAG (resealable) (see image). Description below.

Most of our powdered herbs and spices are in a 3 mm sealed FDA-approved foil bag measuring 8x12 inches. The bag has excellent barrier properties as well as a ZIPLOC top for easy re-sealing and is ideal for storing herbs. Please not that some powdered herbs and spices are so voluminous (bulky) that they will NOT fit in our foil bag and are packed in our clear bags mentioned above (not re-sealable). 

Quality: We offer ethically gathered bulk herbs and spices from organic and pharmaceutical grade trusted suppliers and manufacturers. We also offer Certified Organic herbs as listed. 

Our herbs and spices are FREE of herbicides, pesticides or any other harmful chemicals; NEVER irradiated or fumigated; contain no preservatives, artificial ingredients or fillers such as Maltodextrin ensuring you, our customer, 100% pure and natural herbs and spices. 

In addition, our products are either air-dried, freeze dried, sun dried or low heat dried under 120 deg.

Shelf Life: 18-24 months if stored properly in a cool, dry area out of sunlight, such as a pantry; 6-9 months once seal is broken/package is opened. No "expiration" date listed on package.
