A  Regency rosewood and inlaid brass desk stand / inkstand in excellent original condition.

 This piece consists of a rosewood desk stand intricately inlaid with brass 'boulle' decoration to the top and also to all sides. 

The brass handle is very ornate

Two heavy cut-glass inkwells with brass inlaid tops 

The inkwells are not identical- one seems a little smaller - hinges working well 

inlay is lifting a bit by the handles, please see photos 

there is a pull out drawer in working conditon
