US M1897 75mm Gun M2A2 Carriage

Complete Resin Model Unbuilt Kit

During WW I, the United States Army ordered large numbers of the 75mm Field Gun, Model 1897(French), the famous "French 75." The weapons, manufactured to U.S. specifications, were converted to become the 75mm Field Gun M1897A4 in the late 1920s. In 1933 the old single trail carriage was replaced with the new split-trailed carriage you see here, resulting in the 75mm M2 Field Gun. The M2A2 utilized a firing jack, the M2A3 used segmented wheels.
The 75mm Field Gun, M2, was nearly obsolete by 1940, and was being relegated to a training role at the outbreak of WW II. A few saw service in the Phillipine Islands against the invading Japanese, where the weapon was effective against the lightly armored Japanese tanks.
As a field piece, the 75mm gun was quickly replaced by the 105mm howitzers.
A stop-gap anti-tank weapon was produced by mounting the 75mm M2 gun in the M3 Half-Track transporter, to become the T12 Gun Motor Carriage (tank destroyer.) The T12 MGC saw service in the North African Campaign against the German Afrika Korps, but it was fairly useless against German armor.

THE RULES:

Non-paying bidders will be gnawed to a bloody stump by my savagely fierce black bunny rabbit. He once had an encounter with, then President Jimmy Carter. If your family tree only has one branch – or if you’ve been remarried, but still have the same In-Laws – please stay away.   If you’re over 50, and bald, but still sport a mullet or a rat’s tail, seek help!  All other decent bidders, please bid with confidence and check out our 100% feedback rating. Check out our reasonable return and shipping policies and if you’re uncertain about ANYTHING - please ask questions BEFORE bidding/buying. Preventable returns are a waste of everyone’s time.

Please pay with U.S. funds - no rubles, yen, pesos, or goat trading.

Return Policy:
All electronics and Trains sets please refer to the manufacture's warranty.
Any other item can be returned for any reason within 14 days, provided it’s returned in exactly the same condition as it was shipped in, and accompanied by a note from your mother. A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be assessed on non-defective returns to cover seller and re-listing fees. No fees will apply to any items purchased and returned due to a listing error. AND…if we screwed up (as unlikely as that may be), we’ll also reimburse your shipping costs!

Shipping charges:  Customer Pickup accepted.  That is if you want to drive to Da U.P.

Come UP NORT TO DA FROZEN TUNDRA…..EH.

Expensive orders will be shipped priority Mail or UPS/Fed Ex. with tracking & insurance, especially to South America, Eastern Europe, & Africa. We reserve the right to alter shipping means at anytime, as circumstances deem necessary.  Dog sled or bunny burrows may be used to expedite shipments.  U.S. shipments are usually sent via USPS Priority and generally arrive in 2-3 business days, First class or Parcel Post slightly longer. (Rampaging gunmen may cause occasional USPS delays). UPS or Fed Ex is used for larger more expensive items. Canadian and overseas shipments are sent via USPS 1st Class International or Priority Mail and may take 10 BUSINESS days. That translates to about 2 WEEKS (in Metric) to my non-USA friends. Neither seller nor USPS can control delivery times outside the USA.  Once, first class mail leaves the sellers hands there is NO chance of tracking it.  Canadian Postal is wildly inconsistent on delivery times (too many Molson breaks or hockey?) – yes it's disappointing, but it’s NOT MY FAULT!   I can’t help you once it’s out of the USA.

Combined S&H discount is available.  Please let us send you an invoice if you want a combined shipping price, as eBay screws it up.  I have sent the bunny to their doorstep many times.  (They have lots of carrots to ward him off.)

We generally ship with in 24 hours, in most cases. If it’s during business hours it’s with in minutes.  You will be notified, when your item have left the store.  Please don’t hold us accountable for the delays outside of our control.  Bunny gets very upset when that happens!

OVERSEAS SHIPPMENTS CAN TAKE AS MUCH AS 6 WEEKS.  IF YOU WANT TRACKING THEN ASK FOR PRIORTY MAIL OR REGESTARED MAIL.  BOTH ARE MORE EXPENSIVE. IF YOU HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PAST, I WOULD RECOMMEND IT.  CUSTOMS CAN BE SLOW!  IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHIP 1ST CLASS OVER SEAS, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK! EXPENSIVE ORDERS TO THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES WILL GO PRIORTY MAIL/REGESTERED.

Feedback – We leave positive feedback automatically. As long as you leave it for us, we’ll certainly leave it for you. We’re proud of our perfect feedback. Although it’s rare, occasionally we make mistakes in shipping excessive fees are often refunded. If you are displeased in ANY way with your transaction, please give us a chance to correct the problem in a prompt and professional manner, BEFORE you leave negative feedback. We can’t fix the problem if we don’t know about it.

Please be advised, that since I run a brick and mortar retail store, CASH IS KING.  It’s first come, first serve.   Should someone walk in and purchase an item you are interested in, it’s too bad.  Bunny demands to be fed.  Milk Bone dog treats is his favorite snack.  He’s like, CRAZY when he hears me rattle the box.  I think he’s addicted.  It’s really scary.

FYI: Our Pitt Bull is afraid of the rabbit.  Please don’t make us release him! Poor ratings or negative feedback will cause both to come visiting!
