JS(CC)33b RAF cover produced to mark fifty years of USAF 1947-1997 from our mini-series of four covers. This is the bomber variant with artwork showing the Boeing B-29 Superfortress , Convair B-36 Peacemaker , Boeing B-47 Stratojet , Boeing B-52 Stratofortress and Northrop B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber. The cover has been flown in B-17 'Sally B' during the Biggin Hill Air Show and bears 26p Avro Lancaster stamp cancelled with 50 Anniversary of the United States Air Force London postmark dated 18 September 1997.

The cover has been signed by the crew of B-17 Sally B who flew the covers at the Biggin Hill International Air Show. Those who have signed the cover are the first officer Jim Jewel (a former RAF Lightning display pilot), D. Littleton  the engineer and J Littleton who was the crew chief.
