Acetal (polyoxymethylene or POM) is a high strength, low friction engineering plastic that has excellent wear properties in both wet and dry environments. Acetal is chemically resistant to hydrocarbons, solvents and neutral chemicals.

Acetal has excellent machinability and makes an outstanding choice for applications that require complex, tight tolerances.

Nylon 66 / Polyamide 66 (PA 66)

Nylon 66 has a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than standard 6. It also has a better creep resistance; however, its impact strength and mechanical damping ability are lower.
