For your consideration:  A Beautiful and Extremely Rare Antique Wedgwood Silver on Copper Dipped Jasperware Pitcher Creamer.    This lovely piece measures approximately 4" in height.  The width of the pitcher is approximately 4 1/2" from Handle to Spout and the base measures 2 1/4" in diameter.  The interior is glazed white .  The bottom is marked:  WEDGWOOD 48 D V which dates it prior to 1891 when the McKinley Tariff Act required all imports into the United States to be marked with the country of origin.  It has no England or Made in England markings.  No chips or restorations can be found on this wonderful piece!  There are some stress lines that can be seen in the interior but do not carry through to the exterior.  These lines can be seen in a couple of the attached photos.  My assumption is that the pitcher was dipped in copper and then in silver.  A large portion of the silver has been worn away over the years.
