This is an antique, Yaka tribe, hand carved wooden, ancestor fetish figure. This antique African fetish figure was collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was made by the Yaka people.This Yaka fetish is in great but worn condition with cracks in the wood some of which have been tribally repaired, a small piece of wood missing from the butt and some chips to the wood on the feet. This Yaka fetish would make a fine addition to any African art collection. This beautiful Yaka statue measures 23 inches tall by 5 inches wide and weighs 4 pounds 15 ounces.
