Offered is a beautifully detailed NHL Trailer Hitch Cover

Toronto Maple Leafs

A high impact solid plastic trailer hitch cover with an easy self grip catch to hold it in place.

In additon to proudly displaying your team spirit, the cover also protects your receiver sleeve
from an accumulation of dirt, debris, road grime and the rust that builds up over time from exposure to rain and snow.
That makes the insetion of your trailer hitch much less difficult and frustrating than it would be otherwise.

The sleeve has a hole on each side and comes with a "wishbone" insert

Once you insert the wishbone, you will have 2 little "bumps" sticking out of the cover sleeve.
That makes it easy to slip the cover in place with the bumps snapping into the holes in your trailer hitch securing it in place.
Notice that the bump on the left has a hole in it into which you can insert an anti-theft padlock.

However, for the security minded and to prevent some ne'er-do-well from making off with your cover,
you can ignore the "wishbone" and secure it with a trailer hitch cover lock which should be readily available at any auto parts store.
And, or course, if you already have a trailer then you probably already have a lock.

The decorative oval measures 5 7/8" x 3 3/8" and the sleeve is 3 1/4" long and is designed to fit a 2" x 2" hitch.
The hole measures 5/8" in diameter making it perfect for a 5/8" locking pin.
The centerline of the hole is 2 5/8" from the back of the faceplate.
