It also boasts 4 Channel RCA pre-outs and a digital display with electronic tuner, 16 station pre-sets and a 4-way fader.

Does the radio
come with a harness?
All radios come with a new wiring harness that you will need to connect to your vehicle's electrical system.
Can I use my Original Knobs?
Original radios were "D" shafts and our radios are split shaft. To make the originals work you need to remove the insert
and install a piece of metal for the split shaft.
Where is the Auxiliary Input?
The RCA auxiliary input is on the back of the radio to maintain the classic styling on the face of the radio. The cable is
included with the radio.
How Deep is the Radio Itself?
Question: Is it necessary to hook up the yellow memory wire when installing a Custom Autosound Radio even if I do not need the memory?
Answer: Yes. The unit will not turn on without the memory wire connected.
Question: Can I add an additional amplifier to drive the speakers?
Answer: Yes. Custom Autosound radios have RCA pre-outs allowing you to add amp/ amps.
Question: If I do not have a power antenna, can I use the blue (power antenna) wire as the remote turn-on for an amp?
Answer: Yes.
All Custom Autosound radios with Auxiliary input (USA-230, USA-630) include a 26" aux-in cable. The RCA jacks connect to the aux-in on the back of the radio. The 3.5mm mini-stereo jack plugs into the headphone or line out jack of your your iPod, MP3, CD etc. If this is not the style of connector on your portable device, you may need to purchase the appropriate cables or parts separately. |
