The DL380 G7 features an Intel 5520 chipset on a two-way Intel Xeon motherboard, supporting Xeon 5500/5600 series processors with up to six-cores per CPU for higher performance and better power efficiency. Memory limitations exhibit the true scalability of this dense 2U system, with 18 DDR3 RDIMM slots supporting a maximum of 384GB with both processors installed. This provides ample scope for the most intense multi-tasking requirements and demanding applications.
With all that power at your disposal, you’re going to want a fast and reliable storage configuration to deliver data access to the same standards. The DL380 G7 delivers here with a revolutionary expandable backplane allowing 8 additional 2.5” drive bays on top of the 8 standard slots for a total up to 16 small form factor SAS/SATA hard drives controlled by the Smart Array 6i for RAID optimization. Redundant fans, power supplies and other components are integrated throughout the tool-free chassis, allowing for rapid maintenance and upgrades in mission critical environments.
This is ex-corporate equipment which has been removed from a fully working environment and refurbished by our in-house engineers, tested to be working perfectly. It is classified as A Grade meaning that it is has no noticeable marks or scratches on the exterior of the machine.
