One running BAMBOO PLANT/ROOT

Please understand the growth nature of Bamboo; Bamboo roots grow sideways. The stem the root comes with will not sprout or get green again. Instead, new shoots will come out in the surrounding area. If you purchase after May, bamboo will not sprout until next spring. Please understand this nature of bamboo before making any purchase. Otherwise it is a waste of both our time.

VARIETY OF SIZES, once established, it STAYS GREEN ALL YEAR. Natural privacy fence.

Bamboo is very hardy (to -20F) and propagate quickly. The first photo is from several live plants in just three years. It can grow up to 15-25 feet tall.

Warnings: Bamboos, though beautiful all seasons around, are considered invasive and should be planted away from any building structures.

You will get one clump of bamboo root with a bamboo stem of about 6” tall. Plant immediately upon arrival following the instruction below:

Planting instruction

Plant

Dig your hole to plant the bamboo. Hole should be about twice the size of the bamboo. If buying multiple, dig the holes 3' to 5' apart.

Replace Soil

It is best to position the top of root ball at the soil level. Use composted manure mixed with original soil to bury.

Water Well

Water heavily to help remove any air pockets. Replace any top soil that has settled from the watering.

At first the plants may appear not to be alive, but they will come out the next spring.
