RED LED BUBBLE DISPLAY VINTAGE HP

These have been in our stock since the 1970's, manufactured in the USA by Hewlett Packard, as their type 5082-7413, they are a very early example of  7 segment L.E.D. displays.

Used in HP early equipment including military, they have a magnifying bubble lens which gives them their distinctive retro look.

These ones are an epoxy 12 pin DIL package with gold plated legs.

They are 3 character with the first lens been blank.

Pin connections can be seen above in one of the photos, and the datasheet is available by googling the part number.

Common cathode, only 5mA current drain per section at 1.6v - 2.0v max, ideal for a retro look playing with raspberry pi etc

New and unused, these are a lovely item for anyone collecting vintage opto electronics or repairing vintage equipment.
