In 1950 The Santa Fe again re-equipped their premier Chicago to Los Angeles Streamliner, the "Super Chief".  For the 10-6 and 4-4-2 Pullmans they turned to carbuider AC&F.  If you model the Super Chief from 1951 on, you really have to include AC&F "Palm" series 10-6 Pullmans in the consist; they were in that service right up until Amtrak went Superliner.
It turns out, the Santa Fe AC&F 10-6 and PSCM's plan 4140C 10-6 have virtually identical floorplans and window arrangements. The Walther's PSCM 4140C 10-6 also has the correct 1950 fluting pattern ...also seen on the post-1950  Domes, Diners, Lunch Counter Diners, Dorm Lounges , and 44 Seat Chair cars built for the Santa Fe and correctly modeled by Walthers except...regrettably NO chair car.. Sooooo, what if Pullman had built the Palm series?
I used the Walther's PSCM 4140C model as a starting point and completely rebuilt the underbody to match that of the Santa Fe 10-6; adding Steam ejector A/C , a belt drive generator and rearranging everything else. The car now rides on Walther's 41-CDO trucks.

The car is still a like-new Walthers car; unfinished but complete with decals, handrails and grabirons, and instructions.
