This adapter flange/plate is intended to convert a mount that was originally designed for "Johnson" 700 sized DC motors (i.e. Graupner 700 BB) that have a 29mm bolt spacing to allow for a (25mm spacing) "brushless" motor.
If you wish to convert to a modern brushless motor, you will need to use this adapter plate for 25mm spacing.
It is most likely you will need a 5mm shaft extension for your brushless motor. (See in "my other items")
