Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) is a 13-year-old with a wild imagination - including a cartoon alter ego who says all the nice things the real Lizzie finds difficult to say. Her best friends are Miranda and Gordo and together they stumble through the adventures that all teenagers go through, although most don't have such a meddling mother. The episodes included are: 'Misadventures in Babysitting' when Lizzie discovers babysitting isn't as easy as she first thought, 'Election' in which Lizzie decides to run for class president, 'I Do, I Don't' where Lizzie marries Gordo ... but only for a school project, 'Bad Girl McGuire' in which she makes friends with 'bad girl' Angel and, finally, 'Between a Rock and a Bra Place' when she has to buy her first bra - and face all the embarrassment that comes with it.
