The Kai 5230 , 9-inch bent handle scissor has an ergonomically soft handle which allows for fatigue-free cutting on all types of fabric. It cuts multiple layers of denim with ease while trimming cottons without fabric slippage.

It also features a tailoring bend for stand-up pattern cutting and for trimming batting from quilts. The bent handle keeps the edge of the quilt flat on the table for accurate trimming.

As with all of our Kai 5000 Series scissors, the Kai 5230's are made of a hardened stainless steel.  The smooth, sharp blades gives these Kai scissors an amazing smoothness in cut and feel.
