Vintage men's shirt ruffle, in pleated white nylon.
This type of frill fits on to your shirt buttons, to transform your everyday shirt into a dress shirt for formal evening wear.
This style of garment was very popular in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and was usually worn with a plain white or coloured shirt.
The frill (jabot) is made of pleated nylon lace and net.

Hand washable.
Made in England, probably in the late 1960s/early 1970s.
