Here is a rare original Colonial newspaper with Benjamin Franklin association being the Pennsylvania Gazette of October 4, 1753 Numb. 1293 and printed by Benjamin Franklin Post-Master and D Hall, at the new Printing-Office near the Market. This issue is 9 x 15 inches in size and contains 6 pages as originally published. Most were published with just four pages and only a few with 6 pages. At the bottom of the back page is the important B. Franklin imprint. There are many reward ads for runaway Irish, Dutch and mulatto servants as well as negro women for sale. Very decorative woodcut illustration in the masthead which proclaims "Containing the Freshest Advices, Foreign and Domestick. Perfect for study and display!
