Being offered for your consideration is this completely Hand Made Solid Brass Tea Pot. This stunning pot is constructed with hand hammered brass and hand riveting. It has what looks to be an etched middle eastern design encircling the bottom and top. The pot has a goose neck pouring spout with a large riveted handle. This pot was actually black when we acquired it and we left some of the original tarnish on the bottom for you to get an idea of some of the buildup. We believe it to be an very old piece and not a reproduction. The bottom of the pot is formed with a sculpted piece of brass which has been riveted in place (see images). It is in wonderful condition with no areas of repair and a great look with antique wear commensurate with its age. The interior is in very nice shape as well (see images). The spout is not perfectly aligned , however it is not loose and was probably a construction flaw. All the parts and rivets are tight and strong and the pot does not leak except when pouring I notice some dripping from the spout. The piece measures 10 3/4" tall, 10 1/2" wide and 6 3/4" in diameter. A lovely hand made kettle sure to add beauty to any spot and value to any collection!
