Offered in this sale is group of twelve vintage CH Field Haviland Limoges porcelain plates that were made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They are a reproduction of a soft paste porcelain plate made at the Mennecy Manufactory at Paris about 1735. They are clearly marked on the back as you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. They measure roughly 8 1/2" in diameter. The condition of the set is very good. One plate has a chip on the edge of one rim tooth which you can see illustrated in the 7th image, otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration on the other eleven plates. They do have some high point surface wear from stacking. A nice set that displays well.
