CLEVELAND BROWNS magazine Matchup program Orpheus Roye 2003

This is “Browns Matchup,” a previously-owned magazine / program issued by Cleveland Browns Stadium for the home game against the Atlanta Falcons on August 28, 2003. It is in great shape, with no writing or highlighting inside…

The Cleveland Browns belong to the North Division of the AFC and began play in 1946 as a charter member of the All-America Football Conference, joining the NFL in 1950. The team won all four AAFC titles and had one undefeated season (1948 - 15-0), as well as four NFL Championships. The team is notorious for its Dawg Pound, the name of the bleacher section behind the east end zone in Cleveland Browns Stadium -- some of the most-rabid and vocal fans in the NFL, known for wearing dog noses, dog masks, bone-shaped hats and other outlandish costumes. The franchise is remembered for outstanding players like Otto Graham, Marion Motley, Jim Brown, Brian Sipe, Lou Groza, Dante Lavelli, Bobby Mitchell, Paul Warfield, Len Dawson, Ozzie Newsome, Earnest Byner, Gary Collins, Doug Dieken, Hanford Dixon, Bernie Kosar, Clay Matthews, Frank Minnifield, Greg Pruitt, Mike Pruitt, Ray Renfro, Webster Slaughter, Kevin Mack, Reggie Rucker, Vinny Testaverde, Chris Gardocki and Bob Golic…
