Dichroic Black Rod.
5 - 6 mm Moretti rods, each 16" (406mm) long. Approximately one-third of the rod surface [1/2" (25mm) on each side] is subjected to a metallic thin film deposition (spot where it is held in the coating chamber is not coated). Coated surface should be kept away from the flame and quickly encased with clear glass.

AVERAGE TEMPERATURE RANGE:
Right glass viscosity for working
Starting Temperature: 1706 degrees F (930 degrees C).
End Temperature: 1202 degrees F (650 degrees C).
Annealing Temperature: 968 degrees F (520 degrees C).
NOTE: Alabaster colors have variation in C.O.E. Tests are suggested.
