1930-1931 Model A Pickup Project:

1931 AA Budd cab (factory filled one piece top), 28-30 pickup bed and tailgate, half AA frame.   Cab needs subrails (they're there, but once blasted and clean look like they will be too weak to use) and one subrail extension, lower cowl patches, doors need bottom patches and some body work; hinges are good, top is good, wood over doors rotted and broken, cab back is loose, wood in door latch area looks okay but who knows.  Lower middle of cab back is fairly thin with a lot of big pits, it looks much better in these photos than it is.   Bed is bent, needs a rear U-brace, sides are okay, base is okay.  Hood needs to be straightened out.  A straight, better hood top is included, not pictured.  Tailgate isn't bad but also needs some straightening.  Will throw in a decent Model A car front axle/drums/hubs/wishbone or same from a '46-'48 Ford car.  Just add a Model A car chassis (or your own home made frame) and instant hot rod/rat rod.

Includes a car/pickup frame missing rear crossmember.  Stored inside the last several years.

Sorry some of the pix aren't great, all I had handy was a cell phone.

WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT VEHICLES - THIS MEANS THE CAB IS NOT AVAILABLE SEPERATELY

Pricing note: Old Cars Report (Price Guide) Magazine August 2010 issue notes almost all Model A closed body styles at $2000-$2200 for #5 condition (in need of total restoration) .

Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business.

How to pay: Payment in person, or you can have our postman stand in for you.  We do not accept Paypal for items that are not shipped via a trackable method (USPS, FedEx, UPS) or for large amounts.  Any questions, let us know.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
