This listing is for a charming set of 5 large vintage French napkins dating c1890 - these are some of the most beautiful!! ~*~  This set of damask, Art Nouveau, hand embroidered napkins is made of a lovely soft, white linen fabric and has a lovely MF or JW monogram depending on how they lie.  These monograms are beautifully hand stitched in white with little French knots as well! The tone of the cloth is a charming aged white ~*~  ~ These cloths are a linen and cotton mix.  Ideal for your holiday table and other special occasions! ~*~ ~*~  ( JW29 )  

MEASUREMENTS : Each of these wonderful napkins measures approximately 27.5 inches by 32.5 inches  ~ There is some small size variation in the group, but very close indeed ~*~  

CONDITION : I've freshly laundered and pressed these gorgeous napkins. There may be a few pale marks and some light surface wear to be expected but generally in gorgeous condition ~*~  

These textiles make lovely hand towels, guest towels, napkins, table runners and accents, they can be seamed together to make curtains, patchwork quilts, pillows. I like to use a selection of different towels as napkins to create a charming look at any table~*~ They are just in time for Christmas and would look spectacular decorating a Christmas table, or lovely to wrap baked treats in as gifts! ~*~ ~*~
