This wonderful Antique / vintage homespun, European hand-woven hemp/linen fabric  ~*~  This textile dates from around 1900 , beautiful indigo blue stripe! ~*~ ~ This textile is a lovely length of this roll that measures 4.8 yards  long by 18.25 inches wide~*~This textile was woven around 1900 and was woven to produce very heavy grain sacks. It is woven by hand and is pure European hemp ~ this is an unused length of this gorgeous fabric roll~*~  This is a lovely 4 yard length of heavy, twill weave hemp runner roll. The stripe is a beautiful, dark indigo, natural blue! ~. So much natural texture~ this roll would be a feature in any room . Both ends of this piece are cut and not hemmed. . ~*~ The texture is  coarse and stiff, and would lay well on a table, so this and would make a wonderfully decorative table runner~ very heavy weight!~ It would also be beautiful used as a stair runner, area rug, hall runner etc !~*~ because of the texture , I do not recommend machine washing this textile, and instead I recommend that it is dry cleaned ~ ( piece THREE )

CONDITION : This textile is in original , unwashed, as found condition. Light storage dirt that will dry clean beautifully.  There are several pale marks along this length which are not very noticeable and should clean out ~*~ .
