User Instructions

1. The rod is to be used indoors and is not intended for outdoor use.

2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids.

3. Do not operate rod in presence of explosives or flammable fumes.

4. Do not operate the rod if cord or unit is damaged in any manner.

5. Do not touch rod after being plugged in. To reposition, unplug and let stand for 15 minutes to cool.

Dri-Rod Function:

The rod works off a rather simple principle. The rod will heat up (+/- 10 mins) to a surface temperature of 125°C and circulate warm air throughout an enclosure. The heated air rises and pushes the heavier moist air to the bottom.

With this constant air circulation process it eliminates musty smells and dampness and the content in the closet will be protected from rust, mildew etc.

Dri-Rod Installation:

The Dri-Rod Dehumidifying Rod should be installed in a low horizontal position, mounted to the side wall 6-8 inches from the floor.

They can also be set or placed horizontally on the bottom or the safe or closet.

*Included in the package are mounting brackets and screws if needed.

Electricity Consumption:

Most of our units only draw 7 watts or 10 watts, and costs only pennies a day to run.

The Dri-Rod dehumidifier is unique in that it is made of unbreakable materials. No glass tubes are used, in our manufacturing process.

Just a few helpful hints for getting the most out of your Dri-Rod Dehumidifying Rod.

- If the Dri-Rod does not heat up within about 15 minutes re-install the plug as outlined on the packaging (90% of our customer service calls deal with proper installation of the plug).

- Place the Dri-Rod on a surge protector

- It is important to check the rod from on a regular basis to ensure that the moisture levels are staying constant. With changing seasons moisture levels change.

Warranty

This product has been engineered and crafted with great care for your satisfaction. Dri-Rod Co will either repair or replace the Dri-Rod for lifetime of ownership.

A. This warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in material or workmanship. This does not apply to damage resulting from commercial, abusive, or unreasonable use or supplemental damage. Dri-Rod is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature. This limitation does not apply to you if you live in those states that do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty applies only to the original purchase of this product.

B. You should first read all instructions before using this product.

C. At its option, Dri-Rod will repair or replace the product if it is found to be defective in material or workmanship with the warranty period. Any defective product should be returned to Dri-Rod.

D. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from any unauthorized attempts to repair or from any use not in accordance with the operating instructions, including but not limited to damages resulting from damages resulting from bending, denting, damage to electrical cord, smashing, altering product in any way, or from any other cause except as expressly set forth above.

E. Return defective product to Dri-Rod with a brief description of the problem, including proof of purchase, and a $10.00 CK or MO for handling, return postage, and shipping charges. Please include your name, address, and a phone number. You must prepay shipping charges and mark "Attention Repair Department".

The original purchaser of Dri-Rod heating tube covered by this limited warranty shall be entitled to any implied warranty created by operation of applicable state law, excepting however that the duration of any such implied warranty exceed one (1) year from the date of purchase on the warranty card. Some state do not allow limitations on how long implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
