A fabulous antique French garment dating from the mid to late 1800's. This textile was created to be worn under a jacket. The back ties and the front has the most wonderful metal buttons!!! , 12 cut metal beautiful buttons. This textile is both hand and machine stitched. The front is a wonderful brushed soft cotton and the inside is indigo dyed cotton. Cranberry red and khaki design. SUCH a rare and wonderful find ( please see my other textiles for the matching pieces) ~ ( RR 12)

Chest : from one underarm to the other, laid flat : 20 inches
