A lovely vintage French curtain panel, backed and interlined! This textile dates from the 1940-1950's and uses a lovely large scale design for the front fabric! BEAUTIFUL painterly design ~ This textile is backed in a green cotton and there is a heavy cotton interlining. The backing has splits and tears and is best to repair or replace ~*~ The original hooks are still attached at the top of this panel. The tone of the ground of the front fabric is a pale off-white and the other colors include: muted natural greens, deep gold, pale soft pinks, white, and a lovely peachy pink! There are some larger pale marks in two spots on the front of this curtain; one on the bottom left side, and the other on the center right side.  The front fabric is a light to medium weight cotton. MEASUREMENTS : This lovely curtain measures approximately  :  The top , where it is gathered measures 26 inches wide by 88 inches long. The bottom measures 44 inches wide ~

CONDITION : This fabric is freshly laundered. The top of the curtain where it is gathered has marks and there are some light storage marks and two larger areas of marks on the front of this panel which did not wash.  There is gentle fading and the backing has some flaws including large tears, please use the zoom feature to view condition closely ~*~ Generally gorgeous but not without signs of time and use often inherent in these fabulous textiles ~*~
