A wonderful vintage French woman's jacket is outrageously wonderful ~ the outer fabric is a black, woven wool with gentle sheen and this textile is lined with a very very early wool that was once a Provencal petticoat from c 1820-1850. There are wonderful rusted clasps on the side ~ really a very extraordinary textile ~*~ simple cut ~ Hand and machine stitched. . ~ ( RR 23 )  

MEASUREMENTS : This jacket measure approximately : 
19 inches from one underarm to the other, laid flat
Sleeves : 20 inches 
length 23 inches 
Shoulders laid flat across the back : 15 inches 
Waist approx. 32 inches 

CONDITION : 
This textile is freshly laundered. Please see above and photographs for condition details. There is a hole on the front right breast, perhaps where a pin was worn many times!! the hole penetrates the wool lining . There are some small holes dotted here and there ~ There are some lovely hand mends on this piece ~
