Publisher: Ernest Godman, Sunnyside, Banstead, Essex, 1905, first limited edition; one of 250 copies printed on handmade paper, this copy not numbered. Bound in green cloth with titles in gilt on the spine, uncut page edges. The book is in very good condition, with a repair to the back spine hinge, a little rubbing and a few marks to the cloth, corners bumped. Inside, there is one owner name, Derek Matthews (an architect) and one pencil inscription in his hand on the ffep. Aside from a very few light marks, the book is clean and bright. It is illustrated with a great many drawings, some plans and some monochrome photographs. The artists are Ernest and Jessie Godman, S. Newcombe, E.G. Stevenson, A.E. Nutter, S.E. Castle and W. Wonnacott.
25.7cm, a little over 10 inches, tall, frontis, title, 4pp prelims, 50 pages, mainly illustrations.
