Captain Robert E. Lee Jr.
and
Maj. General George Washington Custis Lee (his eldest son)

Robert E. Lee Jr. was born on Oct. 27, 1843 the youngest son of the famous Confederate General. He also served in the Civil War for the South and was promoted to Captain, serving with his older brother, George Washington Custis Lee. Robert E. Lee died on Oct. 19, 1914.

George W. Custis Lee or, Custis, as he was referred to, was born on Sep. 16, 1832 and went on to graduate 1st in his West Point class. He served in the Civil War as Maj. General and spent most of the war as aide-de-camp to Confederate President Jefferson Davis. He died on Feb. 18, 1913.


Death certificate COPIES measure 8 1/2 x 11 inches and provide much interesting information about each including information about his birth and death as well as parents' information , cause of death etc. Very cool.. Records obtained from state of Virginia where he passed.
