Designed by Denver Gillen, the central subject

of the Gardening-Horticulture stamp is a figure

emblematic of the bountiful earth, holding a

horn of plenty and surrounded by flowers, fruits,

vegetables, and shrubs. The rose and columbine,

two of the most popular flowers in the United States,

appear in the upper right hand corner of the stamp.


These stamps are 65 years old, mint and post office fresh.

Each set of 4 stamps includes a protective stamp mount,

suitable for framing or for mounting in your scrapbook.
