I have used them this weekend in both rain and on a crisp, cold  dry autumn day. My feet are being kept warm  far more effective than I would have believed, and my boots stayed dry in the rain. The engine temperature has not been affected at all, with liquid cooling the chaps will probably increase airflow through the radiator. A simple and super smart accessory for my Scout.
