This is lovely primitive hand loomed woven early American wool. Best ever Americana look and appeal. Beautiful red and soldier type blue. A bit hard to capture as the colors want to appear somewhat neonish but are very rich old hues. Wonderful mid 1800's salvaged long rectangular fragments for primitive projects or look marvelous simply displayed. All are strong and in overall good order with some primitive characteristics inherent of early woolens. Some thinning in areas and a few nibbles/ fiber breaks but again, overall very nice for their early age. A very fine wool of it's time.
