A huge and heavy old silver pendant from India is held by a necklace of genuine untreated elder coin shaped lapis lazuli beads and sterling silver Bali spacers.

The subject of the amulet is in the form of the four armed Bheru or Bhairava form of Shiva in his fearful aspect travelling with his dog. The deity is widely worshipped by Bhil tribals, one of the largest tribal communities in India.

Please bear in mind that the majority of the beads and ethnic elements I use are OLD or ANTIQUE , even ANCIENT! The show wear and age. I usually mention any defaults in my descriptions but I can overlook a minuscule old chip or dent . As this has happened recently and resulted in a severe dispute with the buyer I want to point out again that I do not use NEW  material (except if stated) and that ethnic elements,  old jewelry parts, etc. might have very minor defaults NOT specially mentioned in the description. I do not accept this as a reason for  a return claiming that the item does not correspond to the description.
